As the designer working on this project, I was tasked with creating all the accompanying designs and mockups. I was given a four week deadline to complete a full branding package for Shaman Tea. There where no budget constraints for this project; and I was tasked to create everything in the Adobe Suite of programs.

Starting with initial conceptualization, I was given the target audience and what the brand was about. This led me to create a word collage that defined the brand, using some of the keywords I was given about Shaman Tea. From there I pulled images and created marketing personas for the target audience. Thinking about what the brand stands for and who they are trying to appeal to made the creation of those personas very easy to think about and create. After figuring out the who and the what, I spent time looking at the market and the competition for this company. After conducting some market research, I looked at how I could design a logo that was unique and was in scope for Shaman Tea.Looking at the competition in the market I sketched out multiple iterations for the logo before narrowing it down to three options. Initially I had worked with using the second logo and using the third for additional design elements. Then I looked at typography, and what fit the brand idenity best. I poured over a handful of typefaces before settling on what worked best for the brand. And, now that I had what was nessecary I worked on all of the deliverables that were required.Looking at the word collage I decided on the color palette that would best enhance the brand color. After that the business collateral was a breeze to work on. As for the packaging and mug designs, it took me a bit to settle on mocjups that I felt best related to the aesthetic of the brand. The ads were completed shortly after with a clear direction of what fit the brand. I spent time at imagery that fit the bill, so to speak, and designed it with the target audience in mind.

The Eastvale Brewers Festival is a beer and wine festival hosted by the Eastvale Chamber of Commerce every third weekend in July. Attendees will the exciting ability to enjoy a huge variety of fascinating beers, wines and tasty food treats all in one place, all the while helping support local businesses. For this project I was tasked with coming up with an event based around minamal information of a marketing persona. I was given the options for the type of event and chose to do a drink festival. From there I further developed the persona to include the rest of the information about them and the journey map for how this person would interact with this event. Then I moved on to the logo and branding for the Eastvale Brewers Festival. From sketches to designing in Adobe, the logo went through multiple iterations until I settled on the current version. I then designed the wood texture elements and searched for free usage imagery that coincided with the event. Now that branding was complete I spent a decent amount of time in Adobe XD, creating a website and mobile app with working prototypes for both. Then I moved on to creating an animated ad for the web in Photoshop. Once the major digital design tasks were completed I moved over to Illustrator and Photoshop to create advertising for the event. This included a billboard, poster for street advertising, and multiple wayfinding signs. Lastly, the product mockups were completed, which consisted of a beanie, hat, shirt, and tote bag.

Takko Bepop is a food truck experience born from the idea that: “Street food can be GOOD food”. We want our customers to experience funky and fresh combinations of a classic Japanese street food and one of the most popular desserts to come out of New Orleans. We plan on attracting potential customers by paying for virtual advertisements on social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter to bring more traffic to our website and respective profiles on both apps. Our website will offer a place to track our truck, view our menu, purchase merchandise, request catering, view our values and our brand story. We offer a unique flavor experience with the option to create your own combination of ingredients. If the combination is something we never thought of we might just added it to the menu permanently.

For this project I was tasked with coming up with a fusion restaurant. I was given free reign to chose the cuisine and the style of resaurant. Starting with choosing the food and overall brand concept and aesthetic I crafted a story about the brand. Then I moved on to the logo and branding for Takko Bebop, and then the target audience. I created the identity of the brand from the ground up, doing plenty of research on things ranging from food truck designs to social media advertising, and more to create a cohesive brand identity. With all of the research and brand design completed my focus shifted to working on the desig of the food truck, menu, mobile screen, merchandise and advertising for the brand. Using Illustrator and Photoshop from all of my design work on these steps.
